I was hoping you could help me. I have been diagnosed with a large
(3.6x2.2x2.3) AN which is cystic in presentation. I am currently in
consultation for treatment options but radiosurgery/fractionated radio
therapy has so far been ruled out due to the cystic content and size.
Do you have any research or clinical study results on cystic tumours - it's
very difficult to find this and it is very important to me in determining
the right course of treatment.
(I responded that this person needs additional consultation after looking up research reports on PubMed: gamma knife has been used successfully for large, cystic tumors).
